This is a special screening of Knights of Badassdom, brought to you by our CSTS venue Raleighwood Cinema Grill and our CSTS coordinator Jim Shires.
There was a recent screening in Morrisville that some folks were unable to attend whether it be because it was Sold Out in advance or the bad weather that came through that night. Here is one more and probably the last chance to catch it on the big screen in our area! The good folks at Raleighwood have been kind enough to host this for us. Lets show our appreciation and spread the word to anyone you think might enjoy this screening.
As always we encourage you to come out early and have some food and beverages before and during the movie.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance here. Advance tickets are encouraged so you are assured a ticket and the theatre has an indication how to staff the event.
About the movie: KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM follows three best friends (Peter Dinklage, Steve Zahn and Ryan Kwanten) and dedicated LARPers (Live Action Role Players) as they take to the woods to reenact a dungeons and dragons-like scenario fresh out of the mythical Middle Ages. They are joined by the sword wielding Firefly alum Summer Glau. Trouble arises after they unwittingly conjure up some serious evil in the form of a blood-lusting Succubus, from the pits of hell. Fantasy and reality collide on the Fields of Evermore in an all-out epic battle of make-believe wizards, demons and assorted mythical creatures. Their courage and friendship is put to the test as they attempt to vanquish the evil they have summoned. Will the group prove to simply be foam sword-wielding LARPers, or true “Knights of Badassdom?”
